Kalla Beton is one of the subsidiaries of Kalla . It was established in Ujung Pandang (now Makassar) through Notarial Deed No. 60 dated January 23, 1996, by Eddy Muljanto, S.H. The company was founded to provide concrete supply services for projects carried out by Kalla Group subsidiaries and several contractor companies in the Makassar, Gowa, and Maros regions.
Kalla Beton operates Batching Plants to produce ready-mix concrete using both Wet Mix and Dry Mix systems. This operation is supported by an adequate fleet of truck mixers and concrete pumps, with locations in Tanjung Bunga, Makassar Industrial Area (KIMA), Kendari, and several project-based batching plants across various regions of Indonesia.
To ensure product quality and aggregate availability, Kalla Beton manages its own stone crusher facility located in Lonjoboko Village, Parangloe, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, which produces standard and high-quality raw materials.
In line with the company's growing performance, Kalla Beton diversified its business by establishing an AAC (lightweight brick) factory in the Makassar Industrial Area, KIMA Km.17, on October 10, 2012, inaugurated by Mr. HM Jusuf Kalla. This was the first AAC factory in Eastern Indonesia.
In 2020, Kalla Beton also launched instant mortar products to complement its lightweight bricks, located in the same industrial area on KIMA Km.17. These products were officially introduced on January 23, 2020. The instant mortar range includes AAC adhesive, skim coat, plaster, and rendering mortar, with more variants to be developed in accordance with market demands.
