Kalla Beton Achieves 140% Sales Target in Fourth Quarter of 2023

MAKASSAR – Entering the middle of the fourth quarter of 2023, Kalla Beton has successfully exceeded its sales target, reaching 140%. This achievement has encouraged the company’s management to continue increasing production capacity in response to growing market demand. One such initiative is the introduction of the Truck Mounted Pump series 38X-5RZ (Three-axles).

This concrete pump is designed to deliver Ready-Mix Concrete more quickly and with greater precision to construction sites. As a result, it reduces manual loading/unloading time, enhances operational efficiency, meets targeted Ready-Mix volumes, accelerates construction processes, and minimizes concrete waste.

Kalla Beton’s Chief Operating Officer, Ali Syamsu Wairooy, stated that the company is consistently striving to increase the production capacity of its products to meet public demand, with a current focus on optimizing Ready-Mix volume to improve construction efficiency.

“The procurement of this new concrete pump is a key step toward improving our operational efficiency. It will significantly boost productivity, ultimately increasing company revenue. Moreover, this unit is capable of pumping concrete up to the 10th floor or higher, and is currently the only concrete pump in Makassar with a vertical reach of 37 meters,” he said.

The specifications of Kalla Beton’s concrete pump include a maximum vertical reach of 37.1 meters and a maximum horizontal reach of 32.8 meters, with a pumping capacity of 60–80 m³ per hour. These features enable the pump to access high-rise construction sites with ease.

In addition to its technical advantages, the concrete pump also helps improve material efficiency and reduce gas emissions from transportation. This indirectly reduces concrete waste and significantly supports the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
