Kalla Beton at 28 Focuses on Digitalization and Recycling

MAKASSAR – Celebrating its 28th anniversary, Kalla Beton held a thanksgiving event at the Head Office on the 10th floor of Wisma Kalla Office Building on January 23, 2024.

Carrying the spirit of 28 years, Kalla Beton, a construction business known for its diverse flagship products such as Ready Mix, Precast, Plaster, Lightweight Bricks, and Instant Mortar, adopted the theme Sustainable Growth, hoping to build on its achievements in 2023 for even greater success in the coming years.

Kalla Beton will focus on digitalizing the Ready Mix production process and developing recycled waste from lightweight bricks. Additionally, it plans to expand the Ready Mix coverage area to Kalimantan, while also growing its lightweight bricks and instant mortar market throughout Sulawesi.

In 2024, digitalizing the Ready Mix production is expected to provide more effective and efficient services. Similarly, developing recycled lightweight brick waste aims to minimize brick waste.

Following its highest achievements last year, Kalla Beton is optimistic about exceeding its profit target by more than 150% compared to the previous year and plans to launch several new concrete-derived product variants.

Chief Executive Officer Kamaluddin expressed gratitude for the trust placed in Kalla Beton, enabling continuous innovation and wider market reach in 2024.

“We hope that in 2024, Kalla Beton’s achievements will improve significantly from the previous year and contribute even more to the community,” he said.

Kalla Beton strives to deliver tested instant mortar products that enhance construction efficiency by making the building process easier, faster, and more affordable.

The collaboration between Kalla Beton, government, and society is expected to realize a shared vision through innovation and commitment, fostering a more advanced, prosperous region and building a better future for Indonesia.

The event was held simply and respectfully, featuring a traditional tumpeng cutting ceremony and communal prayer. The board of directors present included Zumadi SM Anwar (Director of Kalla Development & Construction), Disa Rizky Novianty (People & Process Director of Kalla), Kamaluddin (CEO of Kalla Beton), and Ali Syamsu Wairooy (COO of Kalla Beton).

Additionally, Kalla Beton introduced new functional company uniforms designed specifically for work, especially in the construction field.
